Rustle hustle for nothing. I really don't know why they look so busy and I still wait for a century.

Fifteen minutes for a cup of coffee and another an hour for panini.

    And cash only!

I was really in the mood of 'cafe'.like this.
I was looking for Small and dark and vintage  like this.there is no place like this in Japan.I was a coward enough to make it 'to go',although I really wanted 'to stay'.
It was really challenging situation but I was too tired to try two new things at the same time....'to stay at an old small cafe' and 'ordering hot apple cider'....

I've never tried hot Apple cider before, although I often saw the name frequently in New York.
So when I saw the menu and I found the one,I was sure it was the time to try Apple cider for the first time in my life.
After all I found out...it was ただの りんごジュースだった...
but inside, there was a cinnamon!!!!!it makes a huge difference between りんごジュースin Japan and Apple cider in New York!!!!!

We didn't try anything but the cappuccino, and that was fine.

My gripe is actually re: the service. We actually stopped in for a "togo" coffee while walking through soho and while waiting for our coffee we decided to sit down and relax. Our coffee came to the table and we probably had three sips before the Eastern European waitress came by to let us know "togo means togo" aka "gtfo".

Mind you this place had one table occupied by a couple, but was otherwise empty and not busy in the least.

Not sure why she didn't think it be better customer service to ask us if we'd like to stay and look at the menu. And really, wouldn't you want your restaurant to look like there's people inside instead of a desolate uninviting dismal cafe?

Nice cafe to stop at while in Soho. Decent cappuccino and a few fruit pies. They'll even warm your slice of pie. I ordered a cappuccino and slice of strawberry rhubard pie. My friend ordered the 'lite' cappuccino (nonfat milk) and slice of pecan pie.

I didn't enjoy the strawberry rhubarb pie as much as I enjoyed my friend's slice of pecan pie. Something about the flavor of that strawberry rhubarb filling, perhaps it wasn't sweet enough or maybe the fruits weren't ripe before it was used in the pie.

That pecan pie was sweet, but not overly.  Besides, the pecan & pie crust balances out the sweet maple filling that settled to the bottom of the pie.

I'd come back to try the strawberry peach pie. I love pie.
